{In order of appearance, because I can’t figure out
how to work the captions on this slideshow plug-in.}
- Caught! Mrs. Green In The Buffet Line with the Salad Tongs. (Alt Summit’s Clue Party deserves its own post.)
- Going to conferences makes me miss college. (Moorea and Chelsey make me miss having hair.)
- Leaving and returning to LA always allows me to see the charm I forget it has.
- A master class in the fine art of cookie dipping.
- Is it weird that Barbie’s dream house might also be my dream house? (This one was Maegan’s in the early 80s and was passed down to Dee for Christmas.)
- I like shadows.
- Lunch with Grandma.
Leaving town for a few days really threw me off my Project365 stride. But luckily since there are no rules to this experiment, I’m going to publish this slideshow of the past seven days worth of images and carry on like nothing happened.
Things I’m learning about my photo taking:
- I dig extremes — shadows, angles, colors, if it’s bold, I’m interested.
- I’ve got to get faster…I’m constantly missing my shot because I’m slow on the shutter.
- I really like low light and I don’t mind digital noise.
- My impatience is what keeps me from getting better in-camera every time I try. That’s going to be my biggest hurdle if I’m going to keep this up for a whole year.

Download the camera plus app. The shutter is WAY faster than the iPhone camera. I was constantly missing shots of my kids, but this makes it a lot easier.
