If It’s Not A Resolution, You Can’t Break It.

Leaving town for a few days really threw me off my Project365 stride. But luckily since there are no rules to this experiment, I’m going to publish this slideshow of the past seven days worth of images and carry on like nothing happened.

Things I’m learning about my photo taking:

  • I dig extremes — shadows, angles, colors, if it’s bold, I’m interested.
  • I’ve got to get faster…I’m constantly missing my shot because I’m slow on the shutter.
  • I really like low light and I don’t mind digital noise.
  • My impatience is what keeps me from getting better in-camera every time I try. That’s going to be my biggest hurdle if I’m going to keep this up for a whole year.

Download the camera plus app. The shutter is WAY faster than the iPhone camera. I was constantly missing shots of my kids, but this makes it a lot easier.

Talk to me. Please. I'm almost always alone or with a toddler.
