So, for the past few years, my beloved Jodi has helped to organize a wonderful Bake Sale at Scoops Ice Cream Shop to benefit childhood hunger.    She and the lovely ladies that put it on are all wonderful bakers, and all around crafty people, and this year they upped the ante by adding Onesies for sale to benefit the little ones.

It always proves to be a great event – the weather cooperates, the parking gods are good to us, and I get to spend an hour or so eating all the treats I want with some of my favorite folks (who cares if I get fat?  it’s for a good cause, right?)   If you want to learn more – or donate to a great cause, you can check out the No Cookie Left Behind Blog @ http://nocookieleftbehind.wordpress.com/

While I’m still trying to power my way through the sugary goodness I brought home, I’m very pleased with the two onesies I scored for my little-one-to-be, a Nintendo Power Onesie that Neal promised would make Scott happy (such a salesman, that Neal…but Scott was happy…) and a Pirate Booty Onesie that well, made me kinda happy.   I love pirates.   (The eye-patch and “arrrrgh” kind, not the Somalian kind.)
