Isn’t it beautiful? It just arrived, and even though the crib hasn’t landed in it’s final spot yet so we can’t hang it, I couldn’t be stopped from putting it together to gaze lovingly at it. It’s our Birds of a Feather Mobile from IGE, available at Elsewheres (and other fine stores, blah blah blah.)
I’m loving how it looks against our (possibly overstimulating?) lime walls – and to quell Scott’s initial fears that it would feel like she was sleeping in a slasher-movie forest, I’ve assured him that a) our baby won’t have any slasher movies with which to associate it, and b) from below, it just looks like shapes. You can’t tell from this picture, but the color and the wood grain are so pretty. Anyway – it was a gift from Amy and Goose for our little one, and it’s made our stalled out nursery feel just a little closer to finished. (Plus, it’s so cool looking, it doesn’t have to stay relegated to a nursery – I’d pretty much hang this thing anywhere in my house!)
