As a kid, I wrote this on my backpack:

I’ve since forgotten all about it.  Today I saw it on Pinterest.  (I totally re-pinned it.)

Sometimes it’s nice to remember the person you were before the world got a hold of you, and to be reminded that they still occupy some space in the person you are.

Happy Super Bowl Sunday!  Guacamole?

It’s always sort of sad for me to remember the kid that used to dream of the grown up I’d be. I was such a sad sack of a kid. I’m no prize now I suppose, but, man, I feel like I’ve come a long way. :)

Oh, and PS… Love the blog, and your little darling… I have a blog, over in the 317…oh man… that just doesn’t work nearly as well for me considering that’s in reference to Indianapolis. The 818 is just fly compared to mine, but we did just host the Superbowl. That was rad.
