Father/Daughter Conversations

[That is the Lalaloopsy Crumbs Dress that Delilah got for her birthday. She is obsessed with it, only she thinks it is the dress Belle wore in Beauty And The Beast. Last night, outfitted in her new favorite frock, fancy shoes, and a gold purse, she announced she was going to the store. When she “returned” the following conversation took place.]

Me: How was your trip to the store?

Delilah: Good…I bought Daddy a big purple Belle dress. He’s going to look beautiful in it.

Scott: Ahhhh, yes. A tale as old as time.

My daughter has decided that she needs to be my stylist. At the old age of 8 she wants to do my hair and pick out my clothes.

It is cute until I decide I want to leave the house and try to change. Makes life interesting.

      I mean. He’s your mother’s son.

Talk to me. Please. I'm almost always alone or with a toddler.
