Mar11Subconsciously, I think I like to surround myself with people who are just so intensely talented that I have no choice but to feel like no matter what I did I could never replicate their creativity and brilliance. Keeps me hungry. Like a rabid lion. Rowr.

Mar11_3Jessica has been one of those people for as long as I remember. (Or, since fourth grade orientation at my new elementary school, but whatever.)

Mar11_2Her newest undertaking isn’t quite ready for me to show off and brag about, but her studio alone is kind of a work of art.

Mar11_1In the meantime, I’ll just be quietly amazed, yet again, by my friend.

I’m not super into Indian stuff but my brother is in High School and he tries to assert his individualism by dressing in Native American themed clothes and by making his girlfriend a dream catcher for Christmas.

He only spent about 10 minutes and about $1 on it and she spend about $50 on his present…. but it was HAND MADE so she didn’t care. The things he gets away with… anyway, I’m going to send this to him because it is significantly cooler than what he made, and maybe he will think about doing something a little nicer for her birthday! Thanks for the post!
