It couldn’t be more perfect – my two careers converge on snowcapped mountains this weekend. Scott and I said goodbye to Dee for the first time, and are winging our way to join CARGOH.COM in Salt Lake City for the Altitude Design Summit (or #altsummit if you want to follow the fun on twitter.)
If you’re at ALT, come say hi to me at Ryan Marshall and Rachel Devine’s “Getting it right in your Camera” session (which we all know I could use) where I will be getting publicly mocked for my crappy photography skills, and if I don’t run out of the room crying from embarrassment, hopefully I’ll come out the other end better for the experience and you guys will get to reap the benefits (read: no more outfit shots that are focused on the closet wall.)
Then on friday we’re heading up to the Sundance Film Festival, which I’m pretty damn psyched about because, well…I LOVE MOVIES. And I haven’t been to Sundance in nearly a decade, back in my Miramax interning days, so I’m really looking forward to it now that I know my ass from my elbow at least a little bit.
Meanwhile, here’s some fun reading for you:
I recapped the Golden Globes over at BlogHer. I also wrote about Grey’s Anatomy.
The wonderful Stacey wrote about the amazing evening we shared at A Night of Hope – an event we attended to help fight SMA1. I have plenty to say myself about what an incredibly emotional and inspiring time we had, but Stacey captured it pretty beautifully.
