Hi friends. Have you bought Lullabies for Getty yet? I don’t mean to be annoying. It’s just that…Getty Storm is a real little girl fighting a real fight. Her family is real. Her struggle is real. Her Mom, Kate? Looks just like Getty when she laughs ~ they have the same nose crinkle. When I asked Kate about that amazing name they gave their little girl? She told me they imagined her bursting into a crowded courtroom, “opposing counsel Getty Storm…” they were excited by the power it held.
Lullabies for Getty has been months in the making, and it’s a true love letter to Getty and those fighting alongside her. The album had an amazing first week. The blogosphere gets credit for that. You guys did that. And there is more gratitude flowing at you than you know.
But now is the most important time of all…to not let our little album just be a cause of the moment, and to give it real staying power…to spread it beyond the blogging community, and to ensure it continues to fuel the financial fire that is needed to find a cure for SMA. NOW. THIS YEAR. It’s really so close, and our help is more important now than ever.
