We’ve lived in the same spot for five years, and as you may know, every so often I get a serious redecorating bug. Like right now. I’ve got it bad. Ever since we rearranged the place before Dee was born, I haven’t quite been able to get my living room to take shape. Literally every other area of our house is polished beyond, but that one communal space that you walk in to has remained a blank canvas/playroom gone wild. The walls have looked like this for the better part of two years:
See? Blank. I bought that carpet remnant on eBay when I was pregnant, and then I robbed another wall bare for the clock. Scott made me ditch the lamps we had and I’ve never quite found a suitable replacement. And now we’re thinking of moving my office into the basement and opening up the living room again. Which would be kind of totally awesome. I did love getting to enjoy the wall of glass in all it’s glory. Anyway…when the Fall Dwell Studio catalogue arrived last week, I actually found it so inspiring I took it to NY with me and tried to wrastle up some new artwork on Cargoh.
Not like you can’t get your hands on your own copy – but seriously…can I just move in to these pages?
Oh hai beautiful couch. Hello taxidermy I don’t have the stomach for, but coincidentally have tons of faux versions on my eBay watch list – some waiting for spray paint… And oh, especially big Hi to those completely gratuitous but gorgeous decorative peacocks…
I should have known that when Christiane Lemieux put her design-y stamp on a home decor collection it would knock my damn socks clean off. Now I need to buy a new duvet cover…AND new socks.
