It seems like just yesterday that I was in Berkeley with my Sister awaiting the arrival of my youngest niece, Paloma. Now Lolo’s a fiery toddler poking at my “tumm-uh” (as she calls it) seeming to understand that her future playmate is gestating in there, while big Sis Eva gives my belly hugs and kisses, and even whispers conspiratory secrets to her little cousin-to-be.
It was my Sister’s birthday this weekend, and as always, an amazing treat to get to spend time with Mariss and her family. And the steak dinner we celebrated over wasn’t too shabby either.
