During my fight with the postpartum monster, our house got a little…out of control. So we’re trying to scale back and get zen every chance we get. Starting with the master bedroom, which was the opposite of relaxing with too-big furniture and laundry and guitars EVERYWHERE.
Finally. A little corner of my bedroom. The Zen is beginning to emerge. We’ve wrangled the closet monster, the guitars are downstairs where they belong, and we are beginning to have a bedroom that actually feels like a sanctuary. It’s still a major work in progress, but as I caught a glimpse of my welcoming little corner of last night, I thought “wow, it’s really starting to come together” and I wanted to share it with you.
Wall are semi-gloss grey, curtains are Home for Target, nightstand is a Lane Dovetail End Table circa 1955, the bedding is Modern Comfort by Angela Adams {scored on Gilt Groupe for pennies} and the lamp is by Two’s Company.
What do you think? Zen?
