Scrolling ebay, longing for the good ‘ol days of disposable income, I came across this funky little number. It’s a mid-century sewing box, but looks like it would make an awesome Jewelry box – all huge with all these nifty little compartments for all your junk (and moderately sized ones, for bangels etc.) My jewelry box (which my husband gave me about 7 christmases ago and I love and adore, but it’s had candle wax spilled on it, it’s overflowing with all the crap I’ve accumulated, and I left it open for a long time during my “strategic clutter” period, so the felt lining got so dusty I can never get it clean no matter how many layers of lint roller I use on it…I’ve digressed) ahem. MY jewelry box is on it’s last legs, so when I stumbled across this little beauty I got so excited, I just about headbutted Sophie so hard we both screamed.
