Lately something has been weighing down on my mind. It’s my hair. It’s got to go.
Pretty much every time I see Michelle Williams (did you see her as Marilyn?) I think I must unequivocally go Pixie. But then I remember, I am not Michelle Williams. I am more…Mac Tonight…with Tinkerbell’s ears. Gulp.
Maybe I could just trade heads with Michelle Williams {via}. Not in a creepy way though. I totally don’t have the stomach for that sort of thing.
I mean really. It makes me want to abandon my newfound red-head ship and go running back to platinum blonde. {via} But then I become terrified that I’ll have to run out without doing my hair one morning and no amount of cute headband will keep me from looking like this:

@the818 Ah, and of course the link pops up as soon as I hit “tweet.” So I withdraw my blind yes.
@the818 I’ll bet you could pull it off!
@the818 VERY sophisticated! I am all about trying something new! Go for it!
@the818 I think it would be a pain in the ass to grow out (see: @dooce).
@the818 I don’t know what your hair looks like now, but those short cuts are gorgeous. And think of all the shampoo you’ll save!
I think you should. Liane will totally give you the secrets to keeping it up.
@the818 I left you a comment but want to say again that you totally should. Liane will give you tips and tricks for upkeep, too.
@the818 I say go for it! You have a pretty face that can handle short hair. Plus it’ll grow back if you don’t like it #easyformetosay
I love the look—I used to have it YEARS ago, before kids, when I could easily spend $60 on a haircut every four weeks. Now I only get to the salon once every six months or so—so long, messy hair it is. I think you should get it!
@Book4MyDaughter See the regular hair cuts scare me.
@the818 why yes! It’s fabulous.
@the818 are you an athlete? Do you sweat? It’s uber-cute, but I’m on my trainer right now regretting my short hair for the 600th time.
YES! I’ve been sporting a Michelle Williams style pixie since June of last year and I LOVE it! I never thought I could pull it off, but I decided I didn’t care. And then I discovered I CAN pull it off.
DO IT.
Short haired girls have more fun, it is a fact.
And it takes a second to get ready or not at all in my case.
@Gettyowl You inspire me. You pull it off so fierce.
@the818 I say picture number 3. I love the longer bangs. Gorgeous.
@the818 Nooooooo! (maybe?)
@the818 Do it!!!
I actually think you could really pull it off. Go for it, you only live once.
I say go for it. I’m feeling the same way with Ginnifer Goodwin’s cut. I just need to get into the chair when I can find the time. Go for it….the whole shebang BABY
@MrsDivineBodies Have a good stylist?
I can’t talk you out of it–because I’m considering the same freaking thing myself! So how about this: if you do it, I’ll do it!
