My Mother in Law has a Mickey Mouse collection that rivals the Magic Kingdom’s. And I’ve always been a sucker for a protagonist with undeniable psychosis. (I’ve sent many a tweet about Ariel the Hoarder, Belle’s Stockholm Syndrome, Peter Pan’s Arrested Development, and Rapunzel’s Savior Complex…because it makes it more fun for me). Couple that with my husband’s penchant for vintage toons (Pooh, Robin Hood, and Rock-a-Doodle top his list) and it kind of goes without saying that that Delilah George is something of a budding connoisseur of all things Buena Vista.
Tomorrow we are taking Dee, and joining my Sis and family for Lolo’s 4th Birthday at DISNEYLAND. For her first time EVER. I am so excited. PICKLES!!! And OHMYGOD, what better time for me to discover that Disney On Demand is having free previews of TONS OF SWEET DISNEY MOVIES. So today? Disney Marathon! And I can’t control myself. I know all the words to every song whether I want to admit it or not, and I’ve already been told “MOMMY STOP SINGING!!!” three different times this morning.
I will do no such thing. Instead, I will scour the internet for Disney crap, like this sweet giveaway for Mickey junk that I NEED like YESTERDAY (um, digital photo key chain YES PLEASE?!) in hopes that I will win it instead of blowing my wad on Main Street tomorrow..
Anyway…back to Beauty and the Beast. “A beauty but a funny girl that Belle…”
